Efficient matchmaking, interesting insights with company visits and a well visited Holland High Tech Pavilion on the trade floor, made the visit of the Dutch delegation to Semicon Taiwan very successful.

Matchmaking & Networking

The visit to SEMICON TAIWAN started of with the matchmaking seminar where over 50 Taiwanese participants met with the Dutch delegation. Thanks to TEEIA and PMID of the Ministry of the Economic affairs, we can look back at a very efficient matchmaking with many interesting one on one meetings.

ASE Group Visit
The Dutch delegation visited the world biggest OSAT, ASE Group. We got a good insight in the challenges and roadmaps of the Testing and Packaging industry. Several companies in the Dutch delegation already do business with ASE Group and see opportunities to extend this.
Holland High Tech Pavilion
The Holland High Tech pavilion was located right in the centre on the first floor of SEMICON Taiwan. Thanks to this central location, the interesting Dutch companies, of whom some offer unique techniques enabling the semiconductor industry, and the daily happy hours at the end of each exhibition day the pavilion saw many visitors from both Taiwan and abroad. All together this enabled the Dutch delegation to meet with many customers and new potential clients.
Marcel de Groot (CEO, DoMicro): “We have met a lot of interesting contacts and will follow up next week with over 5 1-on-1 meetings with potential Taiwanese costumers.
Sjoerd Houtman (Key Account Manager, Eriks BV) ‘’For ERIKS BV the Holland Pavilion at SEMICON Taiwan offered a great moment to further explore the Taiwanese semiconductor market and meet with new potential Taiwanese clients’’
Ben van der Zon (International Projects Manager, High Tech NL) ‘’The Holland High Tech brand is worldwide known in the High-Tech industry due to successful events like the Holland Pavilion at SEMICON exhibitions’’
New partnership
During the Semicon show, the Dutch company BE Precision Technology that developes and makes Probecardtesters, signed a cooperation agreement with Sellingware (, a Taiwanese company that will be reselling the BE Precision equipment in Asia.
Oscar Beijert, CEO of BE Precision: “Thanks to the Holland High Tech booth at Semicon Taiwan 2015 and the contacts we had there, we now made this important deal with Sellingware that will increase our sales in Asia.
