On Thursday, November 10th, the "Partners for International Business (PIB)” China project ‘BASE CHINA’ (Business Accelerator Semicon China) has officially started.
BASE China has five initial participants; APC, Boschman, NTS Group, Sempro and Trymax.

In cooperation with Rijksdienst voor Ondernemers (RVO)/Economische Zaken (EZ), Business Cluster Semiconductors Netherlands (BCS) supports the Dutch Semicon companies to generate more business in and with China.
This is accomplished by, among other things:

  • The deployment of a local liaison officer in Shanghai
  • Supporting incoming missions from China to the Netherlands.

The kickoff took place simultaneously with the 'China Business Week' at the Chamber of Commerce in Eindhoven. During the kick-off BCS presented the project plan. Bart van Hezewijk, Innovation Officer,

through a live connection, commented on the role of Shanghai consulate. The kick-off ended with the signing of the Covenant by all parties involved.

EZ has made staff and resources available for the project. Holland Branding provides substantive support on Marketing and Communications. BCS will, with the assistance of the Regional Development Oost NV, make every effort to structurally increase the business in China of the Dutch Semicon companies with this project.
